Read Morei have a problem with must-sees. more often than not, they’re flooded with tourists and lose their meaning in camera lights. el ateneo is a bookstore. pushed into a former theatre, yet still a bookstore. but hardly anybody buys anything here. hardly anybody reads. you go in, have something to drink/eat, snap a few photos and leave. for me, el ateneo is an idea, a grand sight but lacks atmosphere.

And when you lose your phone, a staff member will bring it to you in a white envelope the next time you visit. So yes, we like havanna.
